Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
Binnacle Mitigation & Restoration, LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Most people reach us in an emergency — so we've kept this short and plain.
Who we are
Binnacle Mitigation & Restoration, LLC operates this website. Reach us any time at (660) 216-6521, or through our contact page.
Information you give us
When you call us or submit a form, we collect what you choose to provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, and a description of the damage or service you need. We use it to dispatch a crew, scope the work, and keep you updated. We do not sell it.
Insurance claims
Restoration work is usually paid through an insurance claim. Where that applies, and with your authorization, we share the information needed to process it — loss details, scope of work, photographs, and moisture or equipment readings — with your insurance carrier, their adjuster, and any third-party administrator handling the claim. This is a necessary part of getting the work approved and paid, and we share only what the claim requires.
Information collected automatically
If you accept cookies, our analytics tools record standard technical information about your visit: pages viewed, approximate city-level location derived from your IP address, the site or search that referred you, your device and browser, and how long you stayed. It is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
If you decline, those tools are never loaded — no analytics cookies are set and no data about your visit is sent anywhere.
Cookies and analytics
We use two categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. Always active; these cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which show us which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck. These load only if you accept.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site, and we do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising.
Your choices
- Choose Accept or Decline when the cookie banner appears. Declining leaves the site fully functional — including the emergency phone number, which never depends on cookies.
- Change your mind at any time — .
- Clear cookies and site data in your browser to reset the choice.
- Install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all sites.
How we share information
Beyond the insurance parties described above, we share information only with the service providers who help us run the site and respond to you — our website host, our email provider, and the analytics tools named above — and only as far as needed. Where a job requires it, we may share project details with subcontractors working on your property. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of its sale or sharing. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front — but you may still ask us what we hold.
To make a request, call (660) 216-6521 or use our contact page. We may need to verify your identity first. Note that job files tied to an insurance claim may need to be retained for the claim's record and for our warranty and liability obligations, so they may not be deletable on request.
How long we keep it
Job files, correspondence, and claim documentation are kept as long as needed to complete the work and to maintain our business, warranty and insurance records. Analytics data is retained on Google's and Microsoft's standard schedules in aggregated form.
Security
This site is served over encrypted HTTPS and we use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other organizations, including insurance and industry resources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
